It has been a long time since I’ve graced the internet with my magnifigant presence but I am finally back. A lot has gone on in my life since my reign as the self proclaimed “King of the Internet Underground”. With my return I have been contemplating where exactly to take my website and involvement in the internet. Besides being in a huge domain name battle over the last year, I have finally gotten my name back and am ready to get back on my throne.

As of last Novemeber I am no longer a freelance PHP developer and have been so kindly assimilated (haha) in the world of enterprise java development with a great firm here in Des Moines, Iowa known as Source Allies, Inc. For years I have been an advocate of the rapid development process often associated with PHP however as I have been working with Java over the past year, I have expanded my knowledge in web development and have found enterprise development and that various perks that come with Java to be, in some cases, a relief compared to certain struggles that I experienced while working with PHP. Though I will always have a place in my heart for PHP, the strong typed cafinated coffee known as Java is my new best friend. I think that in the future, a big chunk of my blog will contain my views on PHP and Java, Rapid vs Enterprise development, and my random tangents I so commonly go on.

For those who have been wondering where my music “career” has been going, you will probably have to keep wondering for atleast a little bit longer. Lately, I haven’t been able to locate that passion I once had for music and any attempts to revitalize it has failed. The music I have made so far I do enjoy however (myspace), so maybe that will give me some motivation.

On a more personal note, I’ve gained two new loves in my life since the last time I was here. The first being my kool down to earth girlfriend Russonda. We’ve been goin together for little while now so yay for me! Second is my new beauty ( dont have a name for her yet ), my 08′ Honda Civic. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and haven’t decided if I’m going to mod it up, put rims on it, etc. Anyone have ideas?
